2005 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
I am pleased to inform you of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling, to be held at Magiscroft Fishery, Cumbernauld on the evening of Thursday 31st March 2005 at 19:30. Directions to the venue can be found at http://www.magiscroft.com/ .
As you will see from the details below, we have a number of vacant posts which require to be filled. As we enter some very important times for fisheries legislation (including new fisheries trusts, seats on national park bodies and many ,many more legislative bodies) it is important that the Federation is weIl placed to influence the decision making process. It can only do this with your support and with enough effort to cover all the issues. I hope you can make the AGM and give us the support required to make sure you are properly represented at the correct level. I look forward to seeing you there.

Notice of Annual General Meeting
To all SFCA Club secretaries and members Please note that the 2004/5 AGM will be held on Thursday 31st March at Magiscroft Fishery. The meeting will start promptly at 7.30pm.
Constitutional Amendments
It would assist the committee greatly if you could send any proposed amendments to the acting Chariman as soon as possible to ensure they are circulated to the member clubs and included in the agenda. The closing date this year for submitting an amendment proposal is March 7th.
Election of Office Bearers
There were no retiring officers last year. However, a number of posts have resigned and require to be filled:

Nominations and elections will be a significant agenda item this year.
Annual Subscription Reminder
To those clubs who have not yet submitted their affiliation fees please send a cheque for £45 to Peter Mitchell at 12 Albion Street, Ballieston, Glasgow, G69 7DB.
Club Secretaries
Please let me know if any of your club officials have now changed. You can provide Names, Address, and Email info (very important this is completely accurate) at the AGM if you prefer.
I will send on the full agenda during the next few weeks along with details on any early proposals and retiring officers.
