Draft Strategic Framework

The documents attached represent the first steps by the Scottish Executive's Freshwater Fisheries Steering Group to set out a long term plan for how fisheries in Scotland will be developed over the next few years.
SFCA has been represented on the Steering Group throughout and fully supports the process. In broad terms, we believe the direction set out in the draft Framework is positive, but it's vital that we find out what coarse anglers and angling clubs feel about it, both in general, and in respect of the details.
