TOWPATH CLOSURE -  UNION CANAL, LINLITHGOW

The towpath East of Linlithgow will be closed between St. Magdalene and Park Farm to allow embankment grouting work to be carried out. To ensure the safety of towpath users this section will be closed from 14^th Feb until 24^th March because heavy vehicles will be drilling into the towpath. A diversion will be signposted using the country roads from Park Farm south ( note there is no footpath along this section of country road) onto the B9080 and west into Linlithgow turning south into St. Magdalene housing to a sloped access onto the towpath.
