2004 Scottish League Match 4

Sunday 19th September 2004 -
Forth & Clyde Canal, Glasgow Bridge

Brian Cochrane Team 1st - Magiscroft
Individual Champion -
Brian Cochrane
Team Champions - Magiscroft

Congratulations to Brian Cochrane and the Magiscroft team who are the new Scottish League Individual and Team Champions after the 4th and final match at Glasgow Bridge.

Gales force winds and driving rain made for difficult fishing conditions, but Ian Whitson fished a great match taking some quality roach on caster for a clear win.  Postal were the most consistent team on the day and deserved their team win.

Many thanks to Daiwa Sports, represented by Davie McAuley and Stephen McCaveny, for their fantastic sponsorship and prizes.  Brian won a superb Connoisseur Ultra pole worth £1,500 and the winning team and top 7 individuals all picked up excellent tackle prizes including Tournament and Spectron rods, luggage, clothing, reels and hydrolastic.

Thanks and well done to Davie for organising a great series and we all look forward to next year.
