Scottish National Championships 2003

Sunday 5 October - Kingennie Fishery, Broughty Ferry, Dundee

An interesting new venue in the new coarse lake at Kingennie was the ambitious choice for the match.  Though the lake has great potential the time of year and weather condition were against it and the match was a patchy affair.

John Callaghan took advantage of his peg in the deeper area to take a mixed catch of 5.350kg to win a close battle with Nigel Foulds on the next peg.  JB Angling A  took advantage of their good draw to  take a clear victory in the team event.
