The Scottish Summer League tables stay quite close after the 3rd round at a pre-opening match on the new Magiscroft Fishery. Monklands 'B' shaded Linlithgow on weight for first team place on the day and extend their lead in the league to 6 points over Monklands 'A'.
Ewan Weed took a late quality roach to earn second in his section and a one point lead in the individual table over Stephen McCaveny.
Dean Irving took the majority of his 4.950 kg in the first hour on a whip with Ide making most of his weight. 2 bonus Rudd edged him into 1st individual place over Dougie Wallace who had a steadier match on the far side keeping Ide coming through the match for 4.650 kg. Ken Armstrong had a great net of small fish for 4.500 kg for 3rd.
The golden peg pool now stands at £495.
