Sensas International Challenge

The Sensas Challenge is the UK’s biggest and most prestigious team match fished to International rules. The event is a mix of teams who’ve qualified from regional CIPS rules events in England plus invited international guest teams such Team Scotland and Sensas 28 of France.

The event is run by England Co-Manager and Sensas UK’s Mark Downes. It’s a real who’s who of match angling with many international anglers and top teams taking part such as Ultimate Barnsley Blacks and Daiwa Dorking.

The match is held annually during late March and is hosted by top mixed commercial fishery Packington Somers in Warwickshire. The venue boasts 11 lakes and the four largest are used for this event.

Target species are mainly skimmer bream and F1 carp on pole / waggler tactics but all lakes hold plentiful stocks of small roach and bonus tench.
