Competitions

It is the competitive element of angling that makes it a sport and sets aside the match angler from the pleasure angler.

As the Scottish Governing Body for the sport of Coarse Angling, the SFCA has a clearly defined remit to organise and develop the competitive aspects of coarse angling and to select representative teams for international competitions.

To achieve this the SFCA is committed to encouraging anglers of all ages to get involved in competitions and to ensuring that they have ample opportunity and the support they require to do so.
