DAIWA Scottish Junior Open Championships 2003 

Saturday 30th August - Magiscroft Fishery, Cumbernauld

A tremendous turnout of 36 young anglers contested the biggest and best Scottish Junior
National sponsored by Daiwa. The atmosphere at the draw was electric and the excitement continued
all day through to the presentation of a fantastic prize list with everyone a winner.

15-17 : 2nd Mark Lyons, 1st Calum Bisset, 3rd Matt Giblin

Under 15 : 2nd Stephen Mann, 1st Tony Lamb, 3rd David Lee

Calum Bisset though was the biggest winner after taking the top weight of the day of 2.390kg
 on the top pond. That won him the 15-17 year old division and the overall first prize of a 14.5m
Daiwa Shadowlander Pole. Tony Lamb won the Under 15s division to take the next biggest prize,
a top class Daiwa whip.

Thanks to the management and staff of Magiscroft Fishery for organising and running the event on behalf
of the SFCA.  Special thanks to Daiwa Sports Ltd, represented by Dave MacAuley for the superb top prizes.
Thanks also to everyone else who contributed other prizes.
