About Coarse Angling in Scotland

Variety is the spice of life, and the variety of species and methods to catch them is what fascinates the coarse angler. Coarse fishing in Scotland is not generally developed. This means that there is great potential with many interesting challenges and opportunities. Scotland specialises in scenic, unspoilt rivers and lochs - for much of the time anglers may feel that they have the water all to themselves.

Scotland is well known for the quality of it's pike fishing.  Few are aware of the quality of fishing available for other coarse species.  There is no close season for coarse fish.
