LET’S FISH! SCOTLAND’S CANALS 2024

IT’S BACK!!

Let’s Fish! Scotland’s Canals – Summer Program 2024 commences on Wednesday 3rd July!

If you are looking for something to do with the children over the Summer school holidays, why not bring them to one of the ‘Let’s Fish! Scotland’s Canals’ events at the Falkirk Wheel or Hamiltonhill Claypits in Glasgow?

You can book a session with our fully qualified and licensed coaching team, who will be able to answer all of your questions and perhaps even catch you your first fish.

While these are essentially taster/come and try sessions, they are 50 minutes long and are tailored to the needs of participants. And they aren’t just for children! Whether you are a complete novice just looking to try fishing for the first time, someone coming back into the sport after a break, or an experienced angling just looking for some advice or guidance, these sessions are for you.

The sessions will cover a range of topics including tackle selection, baits, basic techniques and also the safe and correct use of disgorgers to unhook and return fish to the water.

Parents are more than welcome to sit in on these sessions so that they can learn together making this a great activity for the family.

All tackle and bait is provided.
