NEW MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM
The SFCA is currently in the process of moving to a new on line membership system called Go Membership. The new systm will be GDPR compliant and provide better facilities, better data management and a more streamlined and simpler interface for members.
During this transitional period, which should be complete by Sun 29 Apr 18, their will be no access to the old Azolve or the new GO Memberhip systems to update membership information and the SFCA will not be able to issue cards.
Individuals can still join the SFCA or renew their memberhsip by clicking the ‘Buy Now’ button on the Membership page at http://www.sfca.co.uk/membership/applications-renewals/. The SFCA will then manually update the new system as soon as it goes live.
All members who joined or renewed over the past week or who join or renew between now and 29 Apr 18 will have their cards sent out in the post on Mon 30 Apr 18. Scottish Canals have been advised of the situation. Individuals in this group who wish to fish the Lowland Canals before their card arrives should carry their PayPal proof of payment with them in case approached by Scottish Canals staff. Thos who have paid by cheque or postal order and wish to fish should email chairman@sfca.co.uk and an email will be sent back to them to confirm that they have paid.
The SFCA aplogises for any inconvenience caused.
Tight Lines,
Gus Brindle, Chairman SFCA
