SFCA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2018
The SFCA AGM will take place in the Kirkintilloch Miners Club on Thursday 29th March 2018, commencing at 2000 hrs. The meeting is open to all individual, club and corporate members of the SFCA.
Member clubs are reminded that any proposals for constitutional change must be received in writing by 2359hrs on Friday 9th March along with any other Agenda items. Proposals and Agenda items are to be forwarded by email to chairman@sfca.co.uk.

A full copy of the Agenda and any proposals for constitutional change will be published here and sent to all club Secretaries by email by 2359hrs Thu 15th March to allow club officials to consult with their members. All paid up member clubs are requested to confirm their email contacts to the Chairman at chairman@sfca.co.uk as soon as possible.
There is only one Officers’ post due for re-election this year and that is the Honorary Treasurer. If anyone would like to be considered for this post they should contact the Chairman at chairman@sfca.co.uk by 2359hrs on Friday 9th March.
Due to a delay in the notification of sportscotland investment to Scottish Governing Bodies, we do not yet know how much Scottish Angling has been allocated for Effective Organisation and Development against its 4 Year One Plan for Angling. For this reason some of the targets in our Draft Annual Business Plan may need to be adjusted depending on the level of Investment paid to Angling Scotland. The aspiration however is to still achieve the targets that we have set, even if we have to investigate alternative funding sources. The Draft Annual Business Plan will be published for consultation is Clubs and individual members later today. Please encourage members to come back to us with and feedback.
