SFCA ANNUAL BUSINESS PLAN 2016-17 IS PUBLISHED

Following the usual consultation period and the AGM, the final version of the SFCA Annual Business Plan for 2016-17 has been published can be found by clicking the link below:

SFCA Annual Business Plan 2016-17

The publication of the Plan has been delayed slightly to allow the Executive Committee to consider impacts and opportunities following receipt of the sportscotland Annual Investment allocation.

The plan supports our Strategic Plan 2015-18 and sets out the targets for the Federation for the coming year, along with the budget allocated to support their delivery and the associated risks of not meeting the targets.

The plan is deliberately ambitious and not all of the activity is funded at the beginning of the year.  This is a conscious decision to ensure that we constantly strive to meet challenges facing our spot and use all available resources to the best of our ability for the benefit of coarse angling in Scotland.

I realise that it is a large document but would urge everyone to at least read the Foreword and Introduction.

The Balanced Scorecard in the Plan will be updated on the website every quarter to show progress against the targets set.

Tight Lines,

Gus Brindle, Chairman
