I am aware that quite a number of our members also participate in other disciplines of angling in Scotland and am sure that amongst you there are many Sea Anglers.

Research company Substance are conducting some new research on sea angling for the UK governments, including Scottish Government and Marine Scotland.

Sea Angling 2016 is a study to measure what is caught by sea anglers and also assess the economic value.  600 anglers across the UK will be encouraged to use a new online Dairy Tool to record their catches throughout 2016.

Substance are still looking for Scottish anglers who fish in the sea (whether dedicated sea anglers or freshwater anglers who do some sea fishing).  We need to make sure that sea anglers in Scotland are represented.  To take part, just complete a short (5 min) survey at:
