WILD FISHERIES REFORM CONSULTATION – SFCA RESPONSE
The Scottish Government recently published its response to last year’s independent Wild Fisheries Review and invited views on the major policy options emerging from it. Their consultation paper, along with further information on the Wild Fisheries Reform programme, can be found on the Scottish Government website at: http://www.gov.scot/Topics/marine/Salmon-Trout-Coarse/fishreform
Having published a draft of our response for comment at the end of June, SFCA has now replied to the consultation on behalf of Scottish Coarse Angling. You can read our final reply at the link below:
Wild Fisheries Reform Consultation Response Form May 2015 – SFCA Final Response
Although the consultation itself finishes on 7th August there will be further opportunities to feed in our views to the Wild Fisheries Reform process. We therefore continue to welcome your thoughts, questions or comments on the issues contained in the Scottish Government’s consultation paper and our response. Please email them to policyofficer@sfca.co.uk and ron.woods@ntlworld.com.
