James Champkin wins 2014-15 DAIWA Specimen Fish Competition
After some considerable deliberation the SFCA Specimen Fish Committee have selected the 2lb 11oz Roach caught by James Champkin as the winner of the 2014-15 DAIWA Specimen Fish of the Year. The fish, pictured below, was caught from Scotland’s renowned specimen roach water, Lochnaw Castle Loch near Stranraer.
James wins the £500 Tackle Voucher generously provided by Wishaw based tackle giant DAIWA, who have kindly sponsored the competition since its inception. He was presented his DAIWA voucher and his trophy during a days fishing at Magiscroft Fisheries near Cumbernauld by SFCA Records Officer, Fraser Simpson.
