SportsAid Scotland Charity Golf Classic, Friday 30 May, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh

Over the last two year’s SportsAid Scotland have kindly supported our junior anglers to the tune of £1500 to help to offset the cost of participating in the Celtic Cup.  With no performance money available from sportscotland for angling, the cost of participating at International level is beyond the means of many of our up and coming juniors.  Support from the Robertson Trust, through SportsAid Scotland. has helped to ensure that we can select the team that deserves to represent Scotland and not just the one that can afford to.

To be able to assist young athletes from all sports SportsAid Scotland has to raise funds itself, and it does this through a number of events and activities.  One such event is the SportsAid Scotland Annual Charity Golf Classic.  This year the event will take place at the prestigious Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society, Davidson’s Mains, Edinburgh EH4 6JH on Friday 30 May. The entry fee for a team of 4 has been set at a very reasonable £300, which includes bacon rolls, 18 holes of golf, an excellent 2 course meal, and presentation of prizes.

Entries are being accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so if there are any budding golfers out there who would like to participate in this event, I would urge you to please submit your entry as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.   Full details and an entry form can be downloaded by clicking the link below:
